Terms and Conditions

Effective date: February 25, 2026

1. Who this applies to
These terms apply to anyone who uses this website—including when accessed at qicuriousqigong.com, qicurious.com, or jenniedelich.com (“the site”)—or registers for or participates in any offering described on it.

2. Two distinct offerings
This site presents offerings under two distinct activities:

  • QiCurious Qigong — Qigong instruction, including online and in-person classes, private coaching, and workshops. This is movement and somatic practice.

  • QiCurious Services — Professional facilitation and peer support for embodied-arts teachers, including the Embodied Arts Teacher Circle (monthly virtual gathering) and related coaching or curriculum-design services.

Both are operated by Jennie Delich. They have different focuses and are run as separate activities; the distinction is for clarity about what you are signing up for.

3. Agreement to these terms
Where we provide a link to these terms or a click-to-agree option (e.g. at registration or checkout), your use of that option constitutes your agreement to these terms. Otherwise, by using the site or registering for or attending any offering, you agree to these terms. We encourage you to review the terms before participating. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or participate.

4. QiCurious Qigong — movement and somatic activities
Classes, private coaching, and workshops involve physical movement and may involve risk (e.g. strain, falls, or aggravation of existing conditions). You participate voluntarily and at your own risk. You confirm that you are fit to participate and that you have sought medical or other professional advice if appropriate for your situation. These offerings are not medical or mental-health care and are not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment. If you have health concerns, consult your healthcare provider before participating. For qigong classes, private coaching, and workshops, you may also be required to sign or accept a separate participation waiver before participating; that waiver applies in addition to these terms. For participants under 18, a parent or guardian must complete registration or a separate agreement before the minor may participate.

5. QiCurious Services — Embodied Arts Teacher Circle and curriculum / learning-design coaching

5a. Embodied Arts Teacher Circle
The Embodied Arts Teacher Circle is a facilitated peer space for professional discussion and support. It may include optional experiential elements (e.g. conscious listening or paired reflection). Participation is voluntary; you may step back from any element. The facilitation is for peer exchange and professional development only. Jennie does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, or tax advice in this context. We are not responsible for the conduct, statements, or actions of other participants in the circle or in any group offering. You are responsible for your own participation and wellbeing.

5b. Curriculum and learning-design coaching
QiCurious Services also offers curriculum and learning-design coaching (and may offer related formats such as workshops or group programs as they are developed). These services include:

  • Learning-design coaching — Session-based strategy, design feedback, and iterative support to help you structure and refine your own offerings. Typical supports include session notes, action plans, structure checklists, prompt packs, and sequencing maps.

  • Curriculum and course development support — More structured work on scope and sequence, learning outcomes, delivery systems, and related elements. Typical supports include curriculum frameworks, learning objectives, lesson architecture, and train-the-trainer elements as agreed.

The approach is “guide and equip”: the aim is to build your capability to create and refine your own courses and offerings, not to deliver finished products on your behalf. Specific deliverables, format, and scope for any engagement will be as agreed between you and QiCurious Services (e.g. in a proposal, email, or separate agreement).

Nature of the service
This work is educational and professional support only. It is not legal, tax, accounting, medical, mental-health, or therapeutic advice. If your work together touches on business structure, registration, contracts, insurance, or tax, any decisions remain yours; you should confirm such decisions with a qualified attorney, tax professional, or other licensed advisor in your jurisdiction before acting on them. QiCurious Services may explain concepts and processes (e.g. how to compare options or document decisions) but does not tell you what legal or tax choice to make for your situation.

Your responsibility
You are responsible for how you use any materials, feedback, or deliverables. Results depend on your implementation and context; QiCurious Services does not guarantee particular business or educational outcomes.

5c. Intellectual property
You own the materials and content you create with our support. We may use anonymized, non-confidential examples for our own education and marketing unless you object.

6. Contributions and payment
Where a fee or contribution is requested (e.g. sliding-scale class fees, optional contribution for the Teacher Circle), payment is for the relevant offering and is business income to the operator. It is not a charitable donation unless explicitly stated otherwise. Refunds and cancellations are as stated for each offering (e.g. on the registration or booking page). Unless a specific offering states otherwise, we do not guarantee refunds once the service has been provided or the event has occurred; we will consider requests on a case-by-case basis. Contact jennie@qicuriousqigong.com to discuss before or after purchase.

7. Limitation of liability
If the operator is found liable to you, the following limits apply. To the fullest extent permitted by the law of the State of Oregon, the operator’s total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these terms or your use of the site or participation in any offering shall not exceed the total fees you paid to the operator in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose (or, for a single offering, the fees you paid for that offering). The operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. These limits apply regardless of the theory of liability (including negligence). Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for gross negligence, recklessness, or intentional misconduct, or for any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Oregon law.

8. Cancellation and force majeure
We may cancel or postpone an offering due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g. illness, natural disaster, platform or technology failure). We will communicate promptly and, where applicable, offer a reschedule or refund as appropriate.

9. Privacy
We collect information that you provide when you use the site or sign up for an offering: for example, name, email address, and any details you give when registering, booking, or contacting us. We use this information to provide the offerings you request, send you relevant updates (e.g. Zoom links, schedule changes), and run our business (e.g. bookkeeping, responding to inquiries).

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your email or other contact details with third parties for their marketing. We may share information only: (a) when required by law or to protect rights and safety; (b) with your consent; or (c) with service providers that help us operate the site and offerings (e.g. email delivery, video conferencing, scheduling or payment tools); such providers have their own privacy and data-use terms.

We keep your information only as long as needed for these purposes or as required by law. We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no system is completely secure; you provide information at your own risk.

You may ask us what data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, subject to legal or legitimate business needs (e.g. retaining records for tax or legal compliance). You may opt out of non-essential communications (e.g. newsletters) at any time via the link in those messages or by emailing us.

Questions about privacy: jennie@qicuriousqigong.com.

10. Contact
Questions about these terms or any offering: jennie@qicuriousqigong.com.

11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA. Any dispute will be resolved in Oregon.

12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when they are revised. Continued use of the site or participation in an offering after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. General
If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, together with any offering-specific details on the site (e.g. registration or contribution text), form the agreement between you and the operator.
