Embodied Arts Teacher Circle

You are invited to join in community with your peers in practice. This is an opportunity to ask questions, share challenges, and be witnessed by folks who understand the shared journey of somatic energetic practices. Teaching embodied practices can be isolating; this circle is a place to be a practitioner among practitioners.

Am I an Embodied Arts Teacher?

  • Roles: teacher, facilitator, provider, guide, teacher-in-training

  • Umbrellas: somatic practices, embodied learning, conscious movement, energetic and ritual arts

  • Examples: qigong, tai chi, yoga, reiki, breathwork, dance, Feldenkrais Method, meditation, sound healing, bodywork, music, nature-based practices, embodied language, etc.

What to expect

Facilitated peer-level, cross-modality conversations on a monthly theme. First Thursday circles will be facilitated by Jennie of QiCurious with exploratory questions to guide our exchanges.

Example format: 75 minutes on the theme of the month + 15-minute open forum

  • Initial exploration of theme (large group)

  • Breakout sessions to dig deeper (small group)

  • Sharing of takeaways (large group)

  • Conscious witnessing (pairs)

  • Open forum, facilitated discussion guided by the needs of the group (large group)

90-minutes, once a month – join as you are available

You will receive a Zoom link after registering.

Contribution

As teachers, we know the realities of fluctuating income.

This space is offered so that all who feel aligned may attend.

Contribute at a level that works for you or join us with no contribution.
